Our first Virginia Woolf course - Mrs Dalloway ran in Spring 2021 and due to lots of demand it will return in March 2024. The slow learning approach gives us the time and space to examine the tensions between the private sense of self and a social persona, the effect of trauma on survivors of war and pandemic and to ask ourselves why it is that this book still has important things to say to us nearly a hundred years later. Lots of people would love to read Virginia Woolf’s work but have felt uncertain about how to approach it, with a little help you will be able not only to read it but to really enjoy it, we invite you to spend a little time in the company of some great literature.
