⭐️Meet our Artistic Director, Dr. Richard Bradbury ⭐️Meet our Artistic Director, Dr. Richard Bradbury - published author, academic and the mastermind behind your favourite courses. He also wrote the novel and soon-to-be play 'Riversmeet' about Frederick Douglass' stay in Britain and Ireland. His play, 'Become a Man', was the first to be performed in the new London City Hall as part of the commemoration of the bicentenary of the abolition of the transatlantic slave trade. To us, Richard is also known for cooking an excellent chilli, being a fantastic gardener and an avid bird watcher.

Following our first successful course on Ulysses w Following our first successful course on Ulysses we are delighted that there is demand for a second one. So, why are we going to run a second Ulysses course? Two reasons - the first was a resounding success and also Richard continues to believe it is the greatest novel written in the 20th Century! It is also, at times, almost forbiddingly difficult but it is also a funny, open-hearted, generous and intelligent novel.⁠ ⁠ Lots of people would love to read this fantastic book and many have got as far as picking it up, opening it even, reading the first chapter then running in the opposite direction!⁠ ⁠ With a little help you will be able not only to read it but to enjoy it.
