A love song to Dublin

21st September 2020

The first is a deep dive into  “Ulysses”. Why? Because Richard believes is probably the greatest novel written in the 20th Century. It is also, at times, almost forbiddingly difficult but it is also a funny, open-hearted, generous and intelligent novel.
Lots of people would love to read this fantastic book and many have got as far as picking it up, opening it even, reading the first chapter then running in the opposite direction!
With a little help you will be able not only to read it but to enjoy it.

The course starts on the 21st September 2020. Later admissions are possible. Please, contact us for more information or visit our FAQs.

Included in the course:

  • A reading guide and explanation of the eighteen course units (there are eighteen sections in the book)
  • Access to a series of fifteen minute online lectures, released each fortnight throughout the course
  • A fortnightly zoom webinar/discussion group
  • Access to supporting material for those who want to read or view background material
