Inspired by Hannah Arendt’s concept of the "banality of evil," this film uses everyday moments to unveil underlying atrocities. Through subtle storytelling and stark juxtapositions, it challenges us to reflect on our response to the world's darkest moments.

🌟 Discovering Artistry Inspired by Landscapes 🎨✨

During a stroll through Callander, Scotland, I discovered Heather McDermott's stunning jewellery, inspired by the Isle of Skye. Her pieces capture the essence of her childhood shores, blending natural and industrial elements into bold, sculptural forms.

And down in Lyme Regis, Dorset, Lucy Campbell creates beautiful jewellery inspired by the Jurassic Coast. Her work features fossils and rock pool textures, evoking childhood memories of beachcombing.

Want to learn more about Heather and Lucy's journeys and how their environments shape their art? Check out our latest blog post by clicking on the link in bio!

Have you met artists who beautifully integrate their locality into their creations? Drop your favorites in the comments!

So, why are we going to run a second Ulysses course? Two reasons - the first was a resounding success and also Richard continues to believe it is the greatest novel written in the 20th Century! It is also, at times, almost forbiddingly difficult but it is also a funny, open-hearted, generous and intelligent novel.
